Genevieve and David were married at Boschendal — one of the most iconic wine estates in the Cape Winelands, known for its historic charm, mountain views, and elegant simplicity. The day unfolded with genuine emotion, thoughtful details, and a setting that needed no embellishment.
Genevieve moved through it all with quiet grace, wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown that felt both classic and contemporary — much like the day itself. David — who, yes, happens to be a Lord with ties to a castle in Scotland — carried it all with humility and dry wit. Their formal introduction as Lord and Lady is a moment I’ll never forget.
Not that you’d hear it from them. The wedding was filled with joy, a few (happy) tears during the speeches — mine included — and the kind of energy you can’t stage: just people celebrating love, life, and each other.
